Pause is our city centre drop-in service, based in Digbeth.
Run by our partners at The Children's Society, it's a little bit different to other mental health services you might have experienced. The best bit about Pause is you don't need an appointment; you can simply drop in for a chat.
Whatever your reason for coming, whether you're a little worried about something that's going on in your life or you just need some space to think, Pause is here for you. Drop in and talk to one of the team, learn a new technique for managing your emotions or simply browse our online self-help materials. Pause is run by our friendly team of therapists, youth workers and volunteers, who are always on hand to lend a listening ear.

Pause is cool, bright and spacious. You can feel safe here among people who are happy to chat and support you.
How to find us
Come and see us at 21 Digbeth. We're five minutes' walk from the Bull Ring and just across the road from the DS1 and DS3 bus stops, where you can catch the 17, 35, 50, 50A, 58, 59, 60, 73, 97, 97A, 150, X1, X2 and X50 buses.
University Of Birmingham - Pop Up Pause
Pause currently have a pop up version of the service running from The University of Birmingham every Monday. If you are at university and find yourself needing someone to talk to, pop into the Bramall Music Building from 1pm-4pm on a Monday and one of our team will be happy to have a chat.
There will be no pop up pause on Monday 18th February 2019.
